Description

Bring cheerful character to any room with this set of two hand-painted porcelain figurines, each shaped as a laughing child in traditional dress. Finished in classic cobalt blue and white with warm red-orange accents, one doll holds a rooster while the other cradles a plump fish — playful, eye-catching details that give the pair instant personality. Every figurine is individually glazed by hand, and the glossy finish brings out the crisp brushwork: rosy cheeks, wide laughing faces, floral-patterned robes, and sculpted blue hair. The pair stands approximately 8.7" and 9.5" tall, substantial enough to anchor a shelf or mantel while still grouping easily with books, candlesticks, and small vases. Crafted from solid ceramic with flat, seated bases, the figurines have a reassuring weight — about 8.8 lbs for the set — and sit securely on flat surfaces. The smooth glazed surface wipes clean in seconds with a soft, dry cloth.
Display them on a bookshelf, mantel, console, china cabinet, or entry table. The blue-and-white palette suits traditional, eclectic, and chinoiserie interiors — group the pair together for full impact or separate them across a larger display. Their warm, smiling design also makes them a memorable housewarming or wedding gift.
